Biography

Ms. Masood is on the dissertation phase of completing her PhD in Health Promotion Sciences from the Claremont Colleges in Claremont, Ca. She received her masters in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Claremont Graduate University and her MS in Exercise Physiology and bachelors in biology and minor in psychology from Charleston, SC. Ms. Masood has teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate level Epidemiology and biology. Along with her teaching experience, she has worked on design and development of health related projects and interventions targeting the minority and underserved populations at the hospital and county level. She worked alongside the Riverside County Population Health Director and Deputy CEO in attaining multi-million dollar federal and private grants for county wide projects and created a multi-departmental referral system for ease in healthcare access for an underserved population. Ms. Masood was also the project lead in developing a validated survey to be utilized with project specific Parkinson’s Disease patients at Loma Linda University, Dept. of Neurology.
